norwegian fjordland voyage - leg 2
Experience the beauty of Norway’s fjords. One of the most spectacular sailing venues in the world. Exploring this coastline by sail is an experience to be savoured. On these expeditions we will take things a little slower, allowing time to appreciate the scenery, fill your memory card with stunning photos and explore ashore.
We have divided this expedition into three legs to allow those of you who are short on time to get your fjord-fix. If you are fortunate enough not to need to rush back to work or simply fancy a longer adventure then why not join us for two legs or even the whole expedition. We even have a 10% discount for booking multiple legs.
Leg two of the expedition is from Bodø to Bronøysund. Starting above the arctic circle you will get to experience the thrill of crossing this magical line of latitude. Using the sheltered inner passage systems will take us through some stunning scenery. We may even have the opportunity to visit the Svartisen glacier or the offshore island of Treana. We will seek out a sheltered anchorage between the mountains and islands each evening and enjoy the extended arctic sunset while we do a spot of fishing, photography or general exploring. Fjords, sea eagles and stunning scenery will be amongst the highlights of this expedition.
